The wait is over!
After months of searching, viewing and negotiating we have found a home for Just Like GRAMMY & POPPOP’s!
We are very happy to announce that we will be located at 1155 Quail Ct in Pewaukee. It seems like it has been FOREVER since we first started looking for the perfect location. There is just so much more that goes into a project like this than most would expect. Finding the perfect location. Finding the perfect location that will entertain having an early learning center…that the state will approve for a license…that the municipality will approve for the use…that the owner will agree to build out for your needs…that a contractor that can start right away and move quickly…SO MUCH GOING ON AT ONCE!
We really didn’t want to just find a building. We wanted to have a location that was comfortable, bright, safe, convenient, spacious, clean…. just right! We found it and can’t wait to show you where little minds will develop and learn; where forever relationships will be formed; and where care has a familiar and nurturing feel.
Now the real work begins. When we initially began our search in April we thought for sure that we would be all signed and settled in by now. In fact we were so confident that we booked 2 short trips to celebrate. The first one we go back to PA (where I was born) to celebrate my Mom’s 95th birthday. And the weekend after we return, a golfing trip to the UP with friends. Now both trips fall right in the middle of the beginning instead of the middle of the end. Or something like that. 🙂
