It’s never a dull moment with the Raindrops Room. Your heart will be full of joy when you see how much the little ones enjoy themselves. While there are lesson plans full of books, stories, sensory, sign language, art projects and more – the schedule in this room is not class-or-room based. The schedules are determined by the children and what the families desire. We ask at least every quarter how often and amounts for bottles; sleep schedules; diapering, etc.
This room has children from 6 weeks old to approximately two years old. It’s a very large room with four full-sized cribs and mattresses. Yes, really! There are a lot of windows to allow for the sunshine to enter. We try to get the children outside at least two times a day. We will often venture into the Kindness Hub for a change of scenery and PopPop Matt & Grammy Kim are often grabbing snuggles from the tender littles.
